About me

Dr Eric Price was born in Port Huron, Michigan to a single parent. His upbringing was in project housing for low income families on welfare. He graduated from Port Huron Central High School in 1980. Instead of pursuing college Eric got a job at Chrysler Corp in 1985. While working at Chrysler Eric heard of the World Basketball League in 1986. He tried out for the league and was considered the top athlete in the camp. After not signing a contract Eric felt God had better plans for him. So, in 1989 by unusual circumstances Eric received a basketball full ride scholarship at age of 26 from Highland Community College, KS. He left Highland and ended up playing for Oakland City University from 1992-1993.

After Graduation Eric played professionally in Central America, Guatemala and the Philippines Islands. After traveling to over 30 countries around the world, Eric started a homeless shelter for men transitioning from prison, and homeless veterans. Eric also pioneered a non- profit called I Changed Nations that helps to restore civility in 164 countries. Today Eric is a basketball coach , works with at-risk kids, a chaplain, Executive Director of Rhema House Care Ministries; a shelter for homeless women and children.
